What is Real Differences about Kinds of Diode Laser Hair Removal Machines?

  1. What is micro channel diode laser stack?
    Micro channel is a kind of diode laser bar heat dissipation way. It is like a man lying down on the ice with full body surface to cooling down.You can see from the following micro channel heat-sink.There are several layers of holes to make the heat dissipation. So with micro channel way, the diode laser stack can work well and no any burning problems. Usually we imported this kind of heat sink from Germany with good quality and the water way with high precision.But also some China supplier used cheap quality imitated micro channel.And feedback not good.

 

  1. What is macro channel diode stack
    Macro channel is another way for diode laser bar heat-dissipation. It is like a man standing on the ice with his feet surface to cooling down. It can not be compared with micro channel cooling stack. But also this kind of diode laser stack with some holes inside for water recycling. You see diode laser bar are mounted on a big stack of metal with covered copper directly. They can not full contact water way 100%. So the water cooling is not easy. Also this kind of stack calls for high profession to do the holes for cooling too especially for the water way design. Most of China supplier so far can not meet the demand to design a nice quality macro channel heat- sink to work more than 1.5 millions shots.

  1. What is non-channel diode stack?

Non-channel diode is newly formed from 2018-2019 in China beauty market. It is spreading quickly as some name as Vcsel technology (Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Laser), originally it was applied into optical fiber communication industry. Vcsel is kind of surface emitting laser, not like traditional PN diode laser stack. The light spot is in dots by dots. And when operating on skin, there are many gaps between each spot. So the efficiency will be decreased certainly. In addition, the driving voltage and current required by VCSEL are very small, making the life span better than other light sources, but the output power is far lower than ordinary micro channel diode lasers. But VCSEL light source is kind of stable and cost-effective light source, which are very suitable for laser beauty equipment manufacturer in researching and developing. While for end-user or seller, we do not suggest this kind of lasers, it is cost -effective, but for the treatment effect will be discounted also.

  1. Collimation Laser

Nowadays many people also pay more and more attention to Collimation laser. Laser collimation definition is : Use laser beam, wave plate or interferon to place the points on a straight line, or determine the distance of the points from the straight line. The laser exit has a certain divergence angle, and collimating the laser will get the spot of the required size within a certain distance. But this work requires relatively high technical precision, and currently few manufacturers in the Chinese market can achieve it. Even if some supplier supply it but with much more effort and cost also relatively higher so far.

  1. Fiber laser

The structure of the fiber laser is similar to the traditional solid diode laser. The fiber laser is mainly composed of a pump source, a gain medium, and a resonant cavity. Its pump source is also a high power diode laser.The gain medium is rare earth element-doped glass, also there is laser transmission device like fiber amplifier, with fiber optic and fiber core, fine pump light, high internal power density of the fiber, the laser energy level is inverse. Based on the phenomenon of re-transmission, the feedback path configuration resonates the laser beam oscillation.

At present, this technology is used by a few manufacturers in China for hair removal, most of which is used in industrial ranging or positioning.And the application on laser hair removal is not so deserving than adding laser bar power. We suggest to add bar piece to do power higher and this will be much more cost-effective.
